JA Finance Park is a personal finance curriculum in which the students learn about financial institutions, saving, investing, spending, earning a paycheck, taxes, budgeting, careers, and more. The program culminates in a visit to our 9,000 square-foot facility in Chesterfield where the lessons are put into practice in a budgeting activity.
There are multiple ways to bring JA Finance Park to your students.
Full Curriculum Option: We offer a full curriculum along with a visit to our 9,000 square foot facility in Chesterfield. Lessons cover spending, saving, investing, budgeting, and careers. Critical thinking and decision-making are stressed as students learn what it takes to create a budget that reflects many of life's expenses. Teachers receive training in the curriculum, the materials needed to teach it, and a student workbook for each of their students.
