At JA BizTown Camp, campers figure business expenses, operate a business, manage savings and checking accounts, become responsible consumers, operate JA BizTown, and more! Please click on Important Information before registering.
Monday: Visit “Producer Place” You will use unusual resources to create a toy from your imagination, sell your product, and explore 17 businesses!
Tuesday: Stroll on “Loan Lane” Visit Bank of America and A. G. Edwards to learn more about deposits, saving, checking, stocks, and money fun!
Wednesday: Drive over to “Career Court” You may have it your way as you hit the pavement applying for a job of your choice in JA BizTown. Sharpen your pencils!
Thursday: Cruise over to “Business Boulevard” Learn what it takes to run a business, compute costs, and explore the inner workings of business in a creative way! Write radio commercials, newspaper ads, and prepare for a TV interview at CW11!
Friday: Go to “Revenue Row” Go to work at one of 17 businesses in JA BizTown, pay taxes, and earn a profit. Get ready to be the CEO, CFO, reporter, DJ, mine engineer, pediatric nurse practitioner, bank teller, sales manager, or many other jobs!
