Lori Jacob began her career with Junior Achievement in 1987. Since then, she has served in many roles, including various positions within the Marketing, Education, Development, and Operation departments. Ms. Jacob currently serves as Co-Chair of Junior Achievement USA’s Strategic Planning Governance Committee, serves on JA Worldwide’s Pension Management Committee, and is an advisory board member for Lindenwood University’s School of Business and Entrepreneurship. In 2009, she won JA Worldwide’s Karl Flemke Pioneer Achievement Award and was recognized for local JA accomplishments by the House of Representatives in the Congressional Record. Under Jacob’s leadership, JASTL reached over 131,000 students last year on a $2.5 million budget, making her operation the 4th largest in the Nation (out of 128). Over the years, she formed district operations and expanded JASTL’s territory to 27 counties in Missouri, and 18 counties in southwest Illinois. She led JASTL to become a national three-time winner of JA’s most prestigious funding award - MetLife Entrepreneurial Award, which was earned in 2002, 2004, and 2009. JASTL has received JA Worldwide’s highest operational award (Summit Award) for the past four consecutive years, in recognition of student growth and fiscal stability. Jacob recognizes all of the operational achievements through her team.
Ms. Jacob graduated with highest honors with her Masters in Business Administration from Lindenwood University in 1998. She lives with her husband and two children in Cottleville, Missouri. Lori and her family are active with their church and involved in many sporting activities.
Sarapage McCorkle, Vice President, JA Capstone Programs
Sarapage McCorkle is the Vice President of Capstone Programs. Dr. McCorkle was previously the director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a member of the economics faculty for 32 years. She is the author/co-author/editor of over thirty economic and personal finance education curricula. She has served as a member of the board of directors of the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy, the National Council on Economic Education, National Association of Economic Educators, Missouri Council on Economic Education, Consumer Credit Counseling Service, and the Foundation for Credit Education. McCorkle also served as an item writer and reviewer for the economics portion of the National Assessment of Educational Progress. She was a co-author of the first U.S. Treasury’s High School Financial Literacy Challenge. McCorkle is a two-time recipient of the Leavey Award for Excellence in Private Enterprise Education from the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge and a Distinguished Alumni of the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
